The Journal is published three time a year, in April, August and December and is free to members. Its content can include -

• Articles written by the members on topics of interest to them
• New members’ interests
• Notices and information on events
• Book reviews

Many of the local churchyard headstones have been indexed and these are available to any who wish to obtain them. The details of those available and their cost is on the Indexes page. There is also an aid to determining which Index may be of interest to you.

Submitting an Article for the Journal

The society is always looking for contributions from members who would like to share something of interest to readers of the journal.

• Tell us about your successes or frustrations in tracing your family ancestry. 
• Do you have a story or information about a local family?
• Have you read a book or used software which has helped you?

To have your article published, you should send it to the journal Editor. Use the link on the Contacts page to send it by e-mail. You can type it straight into the e-mail or attach it if you have prepared it in a separate document (by preference, either using Notepad, Wordpad or Word). If you have any pictures (in jpg or jpeg format) you wish to include, attach them to the
e-mail as well. 

If you prefer to send your article on paper, please contact the Editor for the address to send it to.
