New index of names published
The revised index of names held within the Society’s publications is available for download. It now contains over 30,000 entries.
Which publication do I need ?
The Society publishes several booklets and pamphlets which provide research material within the local area. In order to help you determine which publication may be of interest the Society has compiled an index of the names which appear in them.
The links below open PDF documents which allows a search of the index listing all names in the publications together with a cross reference to the publication in which the name appears. There are two versions of the index -
 The full index, suitable for fast internet access speeds. The index split into two documents, suitable for  slower connection speeds.

How to make payments
There are now two ways to pay for the Society’s publications.

- By cheque

Paying via Parish Chest offers you the opportunity to purchase any of our publications, together with those from many other sources, in a single credit card transaction. The prices quoted in the Parish Chest column exclude postage.
Follow the link below, then Family History Societies etc, find us in the list of societies, then choose the option for the appropriate publication collection.
By Cheque
You may still purchase direct from us, in which case the prices for the publications, both for the UK and Overseas, are given including postage.
Payments by this method can be made by Sterling cheques only please, made payable to -
